Are TyreX invoices valid UAE tax invoices?
TyreX issues tax invoices with your business name, TRN, invoice number, date, VAT at 5% and totals, in English and Arabic, as A4 PDF or 80mm receipt. Your accountant should confirm your specific obligations with the FTA.
What about the UAE e-invoicing mandate?
The UAE is introducing B2B e-invoicing through Accredited Service Providers (Peppol, PINT AE) — mandatory for large businesses from January 2027 and for others from July 2027, according to Ministry of Finance announcements. Retail (B2C) sales are excluded. Connecting TyreX to an accredited provider is on our roadmap before these dates.
How does TyreX handle tyre age?
Each batch is received with its 4-digit DOT code. The POS sells the oldest batch first and the system warns you as tyres approach 5 years from manufacture, the limit commonly applied in the UAE.
Can my staff only see their own branch?
Yes. Managers, cashiers and technicians only see their own branch. Owners see every branch. Technicians only see the bay board — never revenue or costs.
Can cashiers change prices?
No. The selling price comes from your stock records, so every cashier charges the same price.
Which printers work?
Any A4 printer, and any 80mm receipt printer your computer can print to. Invoices open in the browser for printing.
Can I use it on a phone or tablet?
Yes. TyreX works in the browser on any device and can be installed on the home screen like an app.
How do I move my existing stock in?
During onboarding we set up your products and opening stock with you. A self-service spreadsheet import is on our roadmap.
Where is my data and who can see it?
Each workshop is isolated from every other. Staff only see what their role allows. We never sell or share your data. See our Privacy and Data Protection policies for details.
What does the Mulkiya scan do with photos?
It is optional. When you use it, the registration card photo is sent to Google Gemini to read the vehicle details, which are then filled into the form for you to check.
